They are more of a mess than us, but they're expected to sign at least three players in the next 48 hours and they've only had a manager for five days.
I can't decide if these people talking about Fryatt and Stewart are WUM's or not? Is that what it's really decended to? Are we that desperate??
Yes! -> Brendan Galloway and Tyias Browning are currently undergoing medicals at Sunderland, once their signings are confirmed, we'll be the only Championship club to not have signed a single first team player this window (and I don't think any other club has lost anywhere near as many players as us). -> They are more of a mess than us, but they're expected to sign at least three players in the next 48 hours and they've only had a manager for five days. You have to wonder what the hell is going on at 'our' club (both on and off the field).
You watch our leader pull out a couple of eye watering corkers that will blow some socks off... Get real...These top polo horses don't just become available like that...
Get yourself to Nice and borrow one of Abramovitch's yachts to bring 'em back and drop 'em off at Spurn Point. The Slut'll use his rowing boat from there !
As a sub you never know, nil all, 15 minutes to go, he might just stick one in. And it'd cost us next to nowt.
Tell you what Ehab I'm glad there's no takeover talk this summer because the transfer activity this summer has been non stop, we are even talking about bringing fryatt back. Wonder who he'll blame this year....
Can people stop with the fryatt & Stewart talk? That's the capital of Embarrassing land on Embarrassing day!
Finally, one that sounds close... Chelsea defender Ola Aina is being lined up for a loan move to Hull City, sources close to both clubs have told ESPN FC. New Hull boss Leonid Slutsky is looking to use his close connections with Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich to bring some of the Premier League club's best youngsters to the KCOM Stadium next season. Slutsky is expected to be busy in the transfer market this summer with a number of players set to leave Hull following their relegation from the Premier League last season. Aina, 20, has come through the ranks at Chelsea and made six appearances in all competitions for the club last season as he played back-up to wing-back Victor Moses in Antonio Conte's side. http://www.espn.co.uk/football/socc...signing-ola-aina-on-loan-from-chelsea-sources
Yesterday I suggested George Boyd as a yardstick to pitch our ambition in this window. Today some would be happy with Fryatt & Stewart returning. Two players, one's not played for two years the other hasn't been able to secure a contract, anywhere, for over 12 months. Guess, for some, George was out of reach. I'm still living in hope. Shame we missed out on Simon Walton, still only 29 but alas we've been pipped to his signature by Guiseley.
I don't worry about anything that I have literally zero impact on, but... Is there not a point where the red flags start waving? You were posting nearly this exact line last summer and we're still reaping what we sowed a year ago. **** all.
