No, no, no, not Stewart or McLean Fryatt yes, Who else you going bring up Omar Bogle!!!, no thanks he has got a cracking namer though
I know where the goal is at both ends but it doesn't make me a viable option. Mind you if we do sign him I would think I still have a chance at 61 and with both knees bolloxed.
Ehab says he has accepted that post as both your application and your CV and is considering offering you a contract
If fryatt is a free transfer , then it's worth a punt , can't see him demanding ridiculous wages. I know most city fans are in favour of the hard worker type , the guy who will give 100 % and run a lot but couldn't hit a cows arse with a banjo - I like strikers like fryatt who can Kick a ball straight
Brendan Galloway and Tyias Browning are currently undergoing medicals at Sunderland, once their signings are confirmed, we'll be the only Championship club to not have signed a single first team player this window (and I don't think any other club has lost anywhere near as many players as us).
It would be a hell of a punt if he was taking a sizeable wage and being our primary striker. As a championship squad filler on a lower more affordable wage I don't think it's much of a punt at all and would be an acceptable signing. He never scored his goals from being quick or strong anyway, he scored them all by being clever, age I don't think will have such an enormous impact on his game.
We'll probably get a statement soon saying that Slutsky is happy that he has 110% of his squad ready for preseason.
We could bring him in for a fraction of the wages a player of his calibre would usually ask for. For a club like us in need of players, it's an absolute no brainer. We know there's a 15 goal a season striker there
