Ed Sheeran sued for $20m by songwriters behind X Factor winner The writers of Matt Cardle’s single Amazing are seeking $20m from Sheeran, who they say copied the song for Photograph – and they’ve enlisted the attorney who represented the Marvin Gaye family in the Blurred Lines copyright case
I saw his intro at Glastonbury and switched off he's **** and the high pitched Timberlake "Im in love with the shape of you " stuff is just painfully cringe worthy. The one about the Irish girl that looks about 14 on the video is also terrible
Not right though is it? For example I come on here so know I will get abuse my choice, if the abuse was too much I could contact @brb and he would stop the abuse (he might join in as well though which is a seperate issue). I could then continue posting on my fav forum, Twatter don't seem to give a **** and they are **** at responding to reports.
The shape of you was written for Rihanna but he decided to keep it. If we're gonna mock musicians let's at least go for manufactured pop bands that think they're musicians.
It's the Wild West, there's no way they respond to every abusive tweet, so they concentrate on anything that crosses the line into libel, hate crime, or threatening behaviour. So you can call someone a ****er with impunity.
He rehashes the songs from past music, none of the stuff is actually his own. So when he 'writes music' yes he does but it's like a fake artist recreating someone else's work and passing it as the original.
See I don't think he is seen as a sex symbol, in genera. I didn't see that at the concert... My Mrs is a sucker for sex symbols but she thinks he's just a talented Ginger bloke.
Twitter caters to millions and millions of people, though. It's simply not able to deal with abuse. There's no way that the platform could conceivably set up a functional and reliable response to it. They have to stick with something vaguely workable and then it's your choice whether you want to use it or not.
??? He's a pop musician and writes current pop music. How else would he write big hits? He's hardly gonna start writing heavy metal. He's written songs for shed loads of pop artists. **** artists but he doesn't care. That beiber album that broke records wouldn't exist if ed didn't write the 2 massive hits on it. He's making money from idiots. Fair play to him.
If you're stupid enough to post on twatter, what do you expect, ffs? Of course you're gonna get abused, especially if you're famous.
I agree on that point fair play to him but there is nothing he does not copy is all i'm saying. If that makes him clever then fair call, imho it makes him a fraud.
Interestingly Dave Grohl said the artist he was looking forward to seeing the most at Glastonbury was ed Sheeran. I think he's far more qualified in music than a bunch of depressants on a **** slinging forum!
