IMO we have 3 players who are liabilities. Richardson at left back (wide left I don't rate him much either but if he makes a mistake it's not so crucial). Anton Ferdinand...everyone is saying how good he played last Saturday but it was only one game and don't forget he was VERY lucky to get away with the disallowed Carrol goal where he got caught out misjudging the flight of the ball BADLY. Now Bramble had a very poor pre season making mistakes left right and centre! I think Bramble (who played well last season) is one of those players that needs confidence but I think his confidence will have taken a blow recently like...I appreciate he has been out injured etc but....maybe i'm just nervous eh!...

FFS we are 1 f*cking game into a new season - try getting behind all the lads instead of looking for reasons to put the f*cking boot in.

Bramble a liability? fair enough he's not had the best pre season but one game into the season and probably not having seen him play you can come to the conclusion he's not good enough to play for us. sorry pal but thats stupid. i think if he hadn't gotten injured last year he would probably have been close for player of the season with bardsley and it doesnt seem like you think he's ****e.... put things into perspective mate. and dont write people off over a couple of poor performances coming back from injury. i wouldnt have thought he would set the world on fire straight away.

Bramble was completely at fault for a number of goals at the end of last season

Bramble was our player of the season up until he picked up a couple of bad injuries. He'll be back to his best alongside Brown soon enough.

Come on Tiz mate, those nervous are getting to you.

Richardson is our left back, dont think he will be when O'Shea is fit and I dont think he is the greatest but for now its him.

Anton is looking fine to me, maybe Brown is helping him and yes he rode his luck but we all do at times. Whatever we say there is no getting away from the fact that Brown and Anton kept 2 top strikers in check, its all we can ask.

Bramble and Turnr looked poor in pre season but they are both coming back.

Chin up Tiz, all will be fine.

Well I took a bit abuse there like! I'm entitled to view my opinions and i'm not basing my opinions of Ferdinand and Richardson after one game like some of you have said but rather over a couple of seasons. No one will convince me that Anton is a reliable centre half and we all know that if Bruce could get shot of him he would...so why pretend he's any good?! Richardson at left back imo is very average and even a right footer kept him out of that position all last season. Bramble...I said he played well last season but I merely pointed out that he has hit a bad patch and is prone to a few mistakes. If this makes me a doom and gloom merchant I do apologise. For the record...I'm very happy with everything else and looking forward to the season ahead!...

I think Anton is doing OK and its what he does now that counts for me. That said I thik we all know that when O'Shea,Turner nd Bramble are fit he is at risk, same with Richardson.

I would guess that Bruce's back 4 would be Bardo/Brown/O'Shea/Turner, in some formation.
