For quite some time? Flirted with relegation for seasons. Scrapping by. Sent the mag ****s diwn. Ftm But finally got caught out. Always gonna happen. But how pivitol is this season. Its a cliche to say. But is is a step to Good Bad Mediocrity (sp) We have no rightful place. **** the politics. How do you see it panning out Champions 2nd Play offs Mid table Low life Relegated again
The politics matter for me as it dictates what resources we have to play with. So baring the politics in mind I'd be happy with Mid table with around 40-50m of the debt cleared and I'll be happy. Any higher and oh what a feeling, I'll be dancing on the ceiling
Want to aim for 1st. Honestly don't see the point in competiting if you never want to win. Wether it's a real possibility or not it should be everyone's aim at the club. Get a good start and I think it's possible.
I think it's very important because it depends on what sort of squad we put together. Position wise in the table I don't think is crucial but if we sign a squad full of ****e not only won't we get anywhere but we'll be taking steps backwards. It all depends on who we sign and how the squad looks a few games in.
Yep. I'm not convinced with their manager, though. Villa finished really strong last season. Bruce knows what it takes to get out of this league and they've got a really strong squad now. I think Villa and Blackburn double to win their respective leagues, is a solid bet.
You reckon? They were wretched for most of last season and only picked up towards the very end. Plus they haven't got much to spend, and they've got a bloated squad with too many wasters like Ross McCormack. I'd say Fulham are the ones to watch, especially as they've managed to get Tom Cairney to sign a new contract, as he's easily Prem standard. Reading and Sheff Wed will also be in the mix, can't see Boro or Hull up there though.
