No, because two weeks is a long time in the context of the window and a lot of negotiations can take place. I really don't see why this is still being discussed.
Presumably they'll get the equivalent of what we had when we signed Gedo and had Egyptians flooding the social media.
That West Brom signing is very odd, they've signed him and immediately sent him out on a two year loan at Werder Bremen.
Sounds like Pulis is bowing to Chinese owners pressure to sign a Chinese player, but doesn't want him near the team.
It would certainly be better to get more info from the club, though preferably not just in the form of emojis.
Comments like this just underline the fact that some on here won't be satisfied with anything. No communication "Club needs to communicate more" Club communicates in bland, cookie cutter announcements, "Club needs to engage us more creatively, this PR department is hopeless" Club tries something innovative, fun, and likely to get shared across social media platforms, elevating the club's name "Ew that's embarrassing"
Steve Bruce playing Football Manager in real life again! I fancy us to beat Villa now! Wonder if this signing will **** off one of their regular CB's? Chester?
It's quite possible to communicate with fans and not post anything embarrassing, in fact, it's what most clubs do. Hell, if Accrington Stanley can manage it, we should be able to.
I haven't a clue what they post because it doesn't get much traction on social media. Someone posted the Villa tweet because it's funny and not something you see every day. You posted the Southampton kit launch video, again, because it's unusual. Some like it, some hate it, but it gets publicity and gets people talking. That's sort of the aim of a good marketing department.
Southampton kit launch 2,300 retweets, Accrington Stanley tweet about the Checkatrade Trophy 3,009 retweets, you're obviously just following the wrong people.
