A good point well made. If the joke had started What do you call a start where there are no ethnic minorities it would NOT have been closed down. It would have been looked at as been tongue in cheek but it was how the minorities were referred to that in MY opinion could cause distress and just as important could get the poster in trouble and get us some unwanted attention from the supermods. There has probably been worse on many occasions that I may have missed but as it was the very first post in the thread, it stood out. Should majority rules apply - Absolutely. Surely this is exactly the reaction certain loonies of a certain religious persuasion want, Where no newspaper can publish anything about them, no internet forum can mention them. At times like this, Im glad Im in my mid fifties. Im not bothered at the direction our pc world is taking, next generations can sort it. Tell you this though, the more pc we become, the more violence and killing there appears to be in the world

Some points that everyone should note, Material is on Youtube, Telly, in Papers, advertisements, on radio etc, all for public viewing, if something is linked to, or taken from a public viewing source, shouldn't that mean it's ok for this public forum too, without insults and accusations? We're also a nation, including Eire who has the best sense of humour in world, we have comedians telling jokes about all sorts of subjects, we have Black comedians telling black, white and genda jokes, we have white comedians telling black, white and genda jokes, and that's all it is, jokes......... Look I'm not in a good position to complain about Avatar's but.............. could you change yours it puts a real downer on conversations when I see his face learing back that is in no way meant as a slur on italians, people who wear sunglasses ot those who have been or will be involved in crimal cases, sail yachts or play guitars badly.
I agree completely with Eire fkg PC isnt the way to run this board. In football Leeds fans are a minority yet everyone loves having a go at us. How many minorities will be offended by anything on this board, how many actually read it, how many complaints from a minority have you ever had? This board is for Leeds fans not minorities but as its a free country they can read, or join in but they dont so why make a rule that is for something thats not there. Its like Halal isnt it where 5% of the UK population dictate that the other 95% have to eat halal meat which the vast majority of us find abhorrent. I have stopped eating KFC because even thats gone Halal and every supermarket now covers the fact their meat is Halal, every council, NHS trust. I buy my meat locally.

To be fair, Barnsley (as we know it) don't really have a board. It is purely a banter page. If their board got closed down it wouldn't really effect anyone, but if anything happened to our board it would effect a fair few people...

Apologies to those in the south of angerland if this post is considered to be ageist; or in any way reflects badly on (the country of) Eire; or is considered to be a slur on paperboys; or did not mention that girls do paper rounds too; or even mention that sometimes people of advancing years do paper rounds, as it's not an exclusive activity for the young; and I should have mentioned that paper rounds are also available to people of all religions, creeds, countries, or disabilities, physical & mental; except ugly. Ugly people don't get paper rounds. Which is why I don't believe Eire had a paper round. So why does he look like 90 when he claims to be mid-fifties? Did someone illegally sub-contract a paper round to him? Or is it more likely that something else caused all those deep wrinkles in his face? Especially round about his eyes. Like he was permanently making a cum face. Or perhaps that's it! Perhaps he's been an inveterate ****er all of his life? I agree Ell. I've done some Root Cause analysis & my conclusion is that if you ban all the Millwall feckers from the site, there will be no more Millwallism on here. Go for it!
