I don't know if anyone has noticed the new mobile phone mast above the Vicarage Road End stand. I meant to mention it after the Derby game, but forgot. Let's get all the bad news out in one go!
No the mast is above the front end of the East side. It is the thing which looks like long thin music speakers! The signal for me on O2 is better than it was, so there is one positive!
Are you sure it's not a beacon like they use at the end of runways at the Airports? This way it is used as a homing device for our players to shoot goalwards!

Just wondering really how it has moved since I saw it (Oct '09) My main curiosity is really what the back of the Rookery looks like now as you walk up Occupation Road. The SW corner in-fill inside the ground was already at that skeletal stage for quite a while before I stopped being able to go. I quite liked pausing before the match on that landing above what is going to be the player's tunnel, for my nice pint of Chiltern Brewery Bitter- unless a steward spotted me with a drink and asked me to move! The big (hospital, presumably,) high rise behind it has risen since then, i think.
I think it might SLB. You can hire out your school or water tower here for an annual fee. Could this be Mr. Bs big plan to increase revenue from non-footballing activities?

It is silly really, but whenever I have been in Watford on a non-match day and have detoured so that I can drive past the ground very slowly, the old tingle comes back, usually ruined by an irate driver up the boot of the car blasting his horn at the stupid foreigner.
that's why i usually stick it on a meter and have a wander, usually into the club shop..an invariably..i end up buying something! lol
Do they have meters in Watford that you have to pay to park at? The French driver will refuse such objects and drive into a field rather than pay. As a result little effort is made to get revenue from such silly ideas. Still there are not many fields left in Watford these days I suppose.
