Look at the physique on them both. Tyson would have destroyed him as would Evander. Heavy weight boxings shyte now.
An over the hill Klitchko was seriously close to knocking him out. No doubt he'd struggle against those.
I could name about 50 who'd smoke him. There's people who were never world champions in stronger eras that would have beaten him
Love AJ. Monster with the heart of a lion who's pretty early on in his career. Boxing is completely about the timing of when fights are made. If it was the Tyson of about 25 fights in. Fair enough. But the bloke lost to Buster Douglas and Danny Williams. Frank Bruno gave him trouble, he wasn't this iron chinned menace. Holifield lost two two people who David Haye went on to make look amateurish. Ruiz and Valuev. People lose. **** happens. Heavyweight boxing is the best now that it has been since Tyson was young. I'm pretty delighted with it.
Im sorry i dont agree with that hence my thread. Wilder the man who holds the main belt is a complete joke with his windmill punches. Tyson would have got inbetween those long arms and murdered him. Those defeats for Hollyfield you mention was when he was well out his prime and embarassed himself by having to keep fighting because of debt.
than Yeah Wilder is a joke who'll lose his title when he fights someone. As I said. Tyson couldn't beat Danny Williams who was about on a level with audley Harrison. He was incredible for a while, then he was dogshit. Boxing was dire at the end of the Lennox era and then through the Klitschko's. Big fan of the sport so delighted to see some excitement back in it with a few different contenders. The whole football, boxing, sports in general was better in the good old days doesn't hold much weight for me because of sports science. People are stronger, faster and fitter than they used to be as elite sportsmen. I get that you think boxing is ****. I just don't. Much prefer it to football.
I wonder where all the Pacquiao fanboys are now. Apparently he was the superior fighter but FMJ dodged him for years. Now he's getting knocked about by school teachers. Joshua would have been left for dead inside 3 rounds by Tyson in Tyson's prime, he's nowhere near that level.
Pacquiao is showing his age now. He doesn't have the speed, the angles or Tue power he need to have. I had him ahead by a round but home town advantage came into it. Needs to retire. Agree on Tyson versus Joshua in Tyson's prime. Just think it's weird people are writing him off when he's sub 20 fights, he isn't in his prime yet.
I don't think there's any doubt Tyson would of beat AJ, Tyson was one of the all time greats, but AJ is world champion, he is still in the early stages of his professional career and will go on to be a great and he's British. Klitscho has been dominating the heavyweight scene for years and AJ beat him, you have to give him credit for wanting to fight him and test himself against someone like him early in his career.
Heavy Weight boxing has been ****e for some time now mate and I can't think of any modern day (last 10-20 years) fighter that would have stood up to the likes of Ali, Foreman, Frazier, Tyson, Hollyfield etc.
Tyson as a 21 year old was an amazing force literally destroyed everything put in front of him, a monster capable of taking heads off, Joshua is a different animal, Lennox Lewis is an idol of mine, Joshua is fast becoming one, an Olympic boxer has too adapt to the professional ring, Tyson was a born fighter, I'm sure Joshua will beat all before him for a long time to come, he's clever, a thinking boxer with power and a good chin with amazing recovery, he will only get better. I hear you and agree a 21 year old animal Tyson would probably anhialate Joshua of today but nobody could stand up to that Tyson. I believe Joshua is the modern day real deal though, going to be very hard to beat and will knock everybody out
