It seems some joker has linked us with paddy mccourt.

so heres the thing... this guy is a bit of a donkey in terms of consistency, you know the type... delivers once in a while and looks great then just faffs about for a few weeks.

He goes and scores some sort on wonder goal... but get this for northern ireland verses.. the Faroe islands... yes the faroes and suddenly liverpool want him.

honestly... the press are a bit desperate for a story eh?

now to be fair is was a decent goal so here's the you tube of it... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ybNNZub3Psc

I scored one like this meself playing in a sunday league about 6 years ago... why didn't the press pick up on that... oh yeah I forgot to you tube it and hype myself up.

This is rubbish he can't even get a game for Celtic in one of the worst league's in Europe there is no hope of him ever playing for us.

No chance of this one ever happening in my opinion, pat Mccourt he has scored some blinding goals a few times for NI and Celtic but ultimately he's a bit **** and i don't think he'd have a chance of getting in our team.

The problem you guys at Liverpool have is that you are still 2nd rate. You certainly have ideas above your station, lets face it until proven differently you are a run of the mill mid table Premiership side. So to dismiss McCourt so quickly is unwarranted arrogance. Even as a Celtic fan I don't think he would be a regular success in the Premiership, I don't think he would be for any team because he just isn't that type of player. However if you need someone to come off the bench to carve out a chance, he would do that for you or anybody. Though I guess the mighty Liverpool don't need that given you are winning trophies year in year out

Well the problem is, even if you consider us second rate and a mid table prem team, he is not even good enough for us
McCourt is really not good enough fore Celtic so therefore not good enough for a premiership bottom team.
Celtic have players that are excellent for them and get in their first Xi week in week out, unfortunately most if not all of these would struggle in any premiership team or even top Championship side never mind a mid table second rate one like us
Stokes- how did he do in the premiership....remind me
Hooper- played for a 3rd rate championship side
McCourt is a far worse option than these two
Saying that i wouldn't mind Hooper as a 4th choice striker for £2million whilst our youngsters develop

We could certainly do without your riff-raff. You were good in the past, you gave us some gems. Time to move on mate...
