    All true mate.

The fact with Gyan, love him as i do, he is easier to replace than Bent, make no mistake.

If we are ahead of the game and have someone there, we can be cool in the knowledge we are ok come what may, Rod and Gyan, in the same team, would have a very similar goals output, financially, Rod, £12million max, Gyan, £18-20million minimum.

Could they play together? Probably, contrasting styles, even if both are below 6ft.

Has no one spied him at Seaham Hall yet?

I always remember years ago when Paul Scholes was spotted in Jacky Whites market. How football has moved on

When you actually put a figure down on paper as the likely Gyan scenario it makes even more sense to plan well for the future now & spend the £8 - £12 million. Add in some for Flash if that happens & the kitty is looking even better to build the squad as an even more attractive club to move to for others.

Edit: Should have added I DON"T want Gyan to go BUT we all know what could happen!

I don't want him to go one bit, love the lad, but we wouldn't be screwed if he did, that was the point i was going for.

I'd be in serious danger of ripping my cock off if we get Kranjcar.

I think we’re all unanimous in our love of him for staying. I’m sleeping better these days knowing that our stronger defence/midfield should bring happier days than last season. It would be even better to have the security of a Kranjcar who can score even if last season was poor for him than our yet unproven strike force for me than a Bendtner or Rodallega. Don’t get me wrong I wouldn’t refuse them, I just know who I’d prefer first.
