This was Grayson 4 years ago when he took over Preston. This is him now.. This will be him in 2021 after his spell with us.
I think he'd take that, his hair has grown back. Must be gutting to make it to 40 odd with a full head of hair then a few years later you're bald as a coot.
Yeah hopefully mate. Weve tried the likes of ONeill, Advocaat and Moyes etc. Im looking forward to see what he brings to the table.
He said in his interview that he wants his players to have fun and enjoy coming to training, it'd be great if that extends to matches and whether we win or not we're entertained. I believe that for some people supporting their team can be fun. Can't quite picture it myself but hey.
Yeah i saw his interview and i was impressed. Beats Moyseys first one when he told us all wed be in a relegation battle.
Going bald wasn't he? Missed the midway point at Preston Tees when he was sporting the horseshoe. please log in to view this image Looks at his oldest there imo. He did the honorable thing eventually going for the shaved look. Nowt worse than seeing a balding man fighting the inevitable by trying to retain their final strands. Shave it, take the decision out of natures hands and beat it to it. Looks way better.
He's saying all the right things. But we've heard it all before so rhetoric don't mean ****. I can't put my finger on it but I'm actually really happy about this appointment late on tonight. Haven't got a clue why!
I think you can tell when someone is sound and when they aren't outside of neat canned soundbites. I reckon we've got a good bloke in charge now.
He seems a straight forward down to earth sort of a bloke who has said the right things because he means them and not because the media/fans etc expect him to say them. A bit of old fashioned honesty and hard work on the training ground will certainly not go amiss at our club, I for one hope he can turn us around and if we achieve a top ten finish from today's starting point I'd be over the moon.
If we finish top ten i will be over the moon in fact i will be round your gaff and you can supply me drinks all night to celebrate
Seems we are all growing to like this fella already. Can't be a bad thing given the indifference we've had for the club recently. No glamour, no wow factor, but a straight as a die old school sounding fella who seems sharp and focused about the club and what it needs. Sound.
Sound appointment, I like the cut of his jib, and think he is just the man for the job, lets hope the supporting cast give him a chance, good luck Simon.
