Give it up its embarrassing. As soon as Tymon let that **** stretford through his front door it was all over.
FFS you're desperate for it to be about this agent when it obviously isn't. People who are actually in the know and have spoken to the lad have said what has happened. They offered him a deal and then suddenly dropped the terms. They've done it with transfers before that we all know about. Remember the WBA chairman publicly saying we'd tried to change the terms of the Long deal after it was agreed. Hence the infamous done deal that didn't happen. Andre Gray too. Bruce had to step into that one because Odubajo's move was hanging in the balance when he'd already come up here. Oh and there was a certain takeover deal where they changed the price after it was agreed on two separate occasions. It's an Allam thing. They think they can out negotiate anyone and get a deal that makes them feel strong and powerful. Usually it blows up in their face and the deal dies. Yes, other people have signed deals. It doesn't make sense that Ehab will do that but not other deals but nothing he does makes sense. You can't look at things the Allams do with the assumption that they'll only do something that's reasonable and logical. History has shown us time and time again the exact opposite.
The circumstances under which Rooney came to be represented by Stretford, rather than his original agent, Peter McIntosh, were the subject of an extended dispute. An associate of McIntosh, Dave Lockwood, attempted to get Stretford to pay out a share of his earnings from Rooney's representation, engaging John Hyland, a former Olympic boxer, to help in the attempt. One meeting to settle the issue was attended by Tommy Adams, member of a London family who have been called "worse than the Krays" and a man described once in court as "a notorious gangster".Adams had been invited by Kenny Dalglish, a shareholder in Stretford's Proactive agency, who had advised Rooney's parents to change his representation. At one stage Stretford had £250,000 in cash ready to pay off Hyland, although the money never changed hands. At a subsequent meeting at a Cheshire Hotel in June 2003, Stretford claimed that he was physically threatened by Hyland and two other men, Christopher and Tony Bacon, who were reportedly Australian cage-fighting champions. That meeting had been secretly videoed by Stretford who went to the police, leading to Hyland and the Bacons being charged with attempted blackmail. When the case came to court in October 2004, however, it collapsed when it was revealed that Stretford had given misleading evidence. Stretford had told the jury that he had not represented Rooney before December 2002, but documents came to light revealing that their association dated to at least September of that year when the player was still contracted to McIntosh's Pro-Form Sports Management Limited. The prosecution barrister said "we do not feel able to rely on Paul Stretford as a witness in this case".Stetford stepped down as a director of Formation. Josh has took the money. Fine. I hope we have a case and he can't go yet. Short career etc etc can't blame snoddy etc etc. I remember another kid from Hull who went to Stoke 30 years ago. Was a beast through hull city juniors. Played once for stoke and after that struggled to get a game for Sunday league teams off bransholme.
Give it up !! like they've said people in the know are better placed than you. I think most people would leave under these circumstances.
Don't talk ****ing ****. It's all about money for the agent and suckering the tymons into taking it. Job done. Great pr as Leon says to blame the Allams, very easy to do with their non existent pr.
So how've we managed to entice a similar aged lad from Swansea? Is their owner a **** too? Still not seen any links to forums where Swans fans are having breakdowns. Can't be just be ours surely?
Love plts post. Yes Ehab does do deals but when they don't happen it's 100% his fault as he's a ****. I imagine he only does some deals Hudd Jak mannion etc to cover up the deals he doesn't want to do the evil ****er.
Probably because he was released, having never played for the first team and most of them have never even heard of him.
I'm not defending them im defending my club. We offered him a deal, he wanted a deal we weren't prepared to match. **** him. We can't be held to ransom.
