Whichever way it’s dressed, and not necessarily being judgemental - it seems apparent the Tymon move is just about more money. In my opinion, he’s not worth 7k p/w to a Championship club like us - it's just too much for a promising yet still unproven player. Would he have accepted 5k p/w from us? 6k p/w from us? Maybe any other offer that was below 7k p/w was futile? To hide any signs of being money orientated is quite easy with the prevalent anti-Allam narrative (I know because I am part of the anti-Allam narrative).
As usual we like to pretend players were **** all along when they leave. I guess it's comforting for those who can't bear to read him say he left because the club is such a mess. It used to be a staple of Leeds fans and we'd laugh at them for it.
He's an offensive left back apparently... I don't think it means he swears a lot... Amazing on this clip he seems to play everywhere except LB.... He's Polish, I wonder if they're persuading turbo to stay...
Anyone who says they would let their son sign for someone and get less than half what another club is offering is a lying ****.
Really. Even though you confidently stated clubs were sniffing around in january 2016. The agent got to him and his daft family.
Lots of club's were sniffing, but only one has made an offer, despite everyone knowing we were jerking him around. Ehab made three appointments with his agent, then cancelled them all on the day. We haven't just not done a deal, we've gone out of our way to **** him off. Maybe it's because Ehab hates Stratford, maybe it's because he hates Josh's old man, whatever the reason, he's deliberately ****ed him off.
FFS even though I'm not privy to any of what has really gone on, like most of us, if Ehaw hadn't ****ed around from last September and got a real prospect tied down to his first pro deal then no, no ****ing clubs would have been sniffing in January Chazz. You're just being contrary for the sake of it. Whilst the family is right to secure the best overall deal for Josh, that doesn't just involve money, but with Ehaw ****ing acting like the incompetent **** he is, then that narrows down the considerations that the Tymons have taken into account. Do you honestly think he wants to move to The ****hole that is Stoke? But a higher wage compensates for moving away from home. Sounds like he really didn't have any choice. At least thats how I see it.
So what is the situ then if, as the HDM speculates, that City have extended his scholarship/apprentice terms until next summer? Is he actually free to walk then a tribunal sets a fee, or does it count as any other pro contract and he's legally bound to stay unless we give permission?
The club think the automatic extension is solid, Tymon's people think it's not valid, obviously none of us have seen it, so we'll just have to wait for more info.
Like most people, I don't have a clue what has happened. But it is definite that it, in the current climate, would be easy to camouflage any exit for more money/brighter lights by scapegoating an unpopular regime. Remember what happened with other players who have been accused of chasing money - they've been lambasted and the rest by the fans. Now, I'm not saying that Tymon has done that, just pointing out that it's an easy excuse to use if need be.
Oh I'm not saying there wasn't a big pay gap but 500 Sovs a week for a England international with premier league experience? ****ing taking the piss that is.
