    Speaking of imagining you balls deep in sheep...

    I learned earlier this year I have a "condition" called aphantasia. Basically I don't have a minds eye. I don't see pictures in my mind. I can't visualise someones face for example.

    I always thought expressions like "minds eye" and "picture this" were just sayings. Kind of blew my mind when I found out that people can actually, literally form pictures in their head.


    For the first time in my life "imagine counting sheep to sleep" actually made sense.

    Honestly the thought of literally picturing something in my mind seems absolutely bizarre.

    I think I used to have the ability at some point though because I remember as a child seeing things and hearing things in my dreams. I guess it's something that faded away when I was really small.
