Has he completed a single pass, knock down, dribble or hold up? I don't think so! How low on confidence is this guy or has someone disguised pavelchenko as a morrocan?

I have to admit replacing him with Bendtner at half-time would have been good.
But - might have reduced Nick's sale value.

Where is the Marouane Chamakh from the first half of last season? He was a beast back then, looks like RVP's return from injury really hurt him.

Utter donkey. The guy does not know how to play as a forward. He never gets into the box, never plays passes forward, does not shoot and etc. Awful player.

  7. The Big C word I think

I don't know where his confidence has gone. What do they do in training I wonder?

I also wonder if perhaps there may be a case for the return of Bendtner

God no, i'd rather play szczesney up front than bendtner. The sooner he leaves, and takes squilacci and almunia with him, the better.

  9. Well he has scored some crucial goals for us, as far back as 2008 when Villa were leading us 1-0 at the Emirates and he saved our bacon in the dying seconds of extra time. I know he can seem quite out of it with suspect decision-making but that's because he doesn't play enough. I do wonder what a match-tight Bendtner is able to do. If he goes to another EPL club and plays regularly for them, I can see his being a 15 +/- goal a year player. Who knows perhaps even more? As for Chamakh, I really fear that his performance level should be tailing off so dramatically. I don't blame him really since we should have done something about it before and what we should also be doing from now is to be certain that if we buy at rock-bottom prices ( MC came free I recall ), we have to expect that there is a chance of disappointment. Proven players come with a price tag.

it's honestly reaching the stage where i'd rather he was sold & Bendtner kept. i think a lot of people dislike Bendtner for his perceived arrogance just as much as his poor first touch.
with such high confidence, he won't suffer...a dip in confidence!! he's a good player, and i'd rather he be kept and Chamakh moved on.

when is Joel Campbell arriving? i wana have a look at him.

in all honesty are Bendtner, Chamakh and Vela good enough for a top 4 side?.

Bye bye - all part of the root and branch clearout.

keep Bendy, he seems better than Chamakh, and he's younger, and has tons of Premiership experience. Vela has gone on loan already. Bring on Joel Campbell!!

Keep Bendtner ? For what ? He can't pass and his interplay is poor. Granted if we played him to his strength which is a traditional centre forward he would be more effective, but when he tries to dribble it never works and he looks like an oaf.

Get rid of all the dead wood, Wenger said he would so he bloody should

  16. I wonder if Arsene's having trouble moving them on. Would you buy Almunia for instance? We kept him too long and are now stuck with him till his contract expires. Perhaps send him out on loan. Arsene did try to suggest that the England team take him, to deaf ears ...... Bendtner too could be sent out on loan. He would presumably would see regular first team action then. That way we can then see if there is merit in keeping him on.
