I'm prepared to be proved wrong but I think we've dodged one here, if we ever were in the running. Every time I've seen him play he's been ****ing woeful and Roma wanted rid pretty much straight after spending €13 on him.
Didn't they trigger the extra scholarship year because they couldn't agree terms on a pro contract? I seem to remember both Phelan and Silva tried but he wouldn't sign anything.
For about the fiftieth time on this thread, we offered him a deal, his people said they wanted a better deal, Ehab got the hump and offered a worse one than the first one, it was rejected, we've refused to offer him anything since (and that was back in September, the club were offered another chance before the deal was agreed with Stoke, but declined).
If you go away for another two, three or four weeks I'm not convinced anything will have changed except we will have fewer players
TIGERS SIGN YOUNG STRIKER LIAM EDWARDS please log in to view this image The Tigers have signed young striker Liam Edwards on a one-year deal. Edwards, a former Swansea City youngster, enjoyed a successful trial with the Club towards the end of last season and has now signed a professional deal, which also includes the option of a further year. The 18-year-old had been with Swansea since December 2013 and has also represented Wales at youth level.
Sometimes people don't have time to read through an entire 147 page thread. He's been in talks with the club this summer, they still couldn't agree terms, hence no deal was offered. Either he's getting some bad advice or Ehab is taking the piss with what he's prepared to offer. Either way its a shame for the young lad because playing for Stokes reserves is not the way to go.
Leeds have done some excellent business... Hadi Sacko (Sporting Lisbon £2,000,000) Mateusz Klich (FC Twente £1,500,000) Pontus Jansson (Torino £3,500,000)
You could always look at the first post on the summer transfer thread, where every deal at every English league club is listed.
Mike White @mikewhitesport Re Josh Tymon's move to Stoke City, source close to both parties say he turned down £500 p/wk offer from #hcafc & will be on £7k at Stoke. £500 a week ffs.
£500 a week. What a ****ing cockwomble we have at the helm. I wouldn't have accepted £500 a week either.
Make your mind up....you said before that we offered one then retracted it and offered a lesser one.... Which is it?
