Are we talking about florist Oasis, because I find the green one you wet is best as you can throw it quite far. The band are just about average at best
The trouble with Oasis is once you've heard them enough times you can't bear it with they comes on. Victim of their own success in a sense. They do about 10 top draw songs imo but I can't listen to them atm.
I've been a big Oasis fan since my water can sprang a leak in the gobi desert. Saved my life, always a fan.
Will never forget the first time I heard Live Forever. Was a proper hold the phone moment. Shame it all went to **** and Liam became King of the Chavs.
Hate Blur and the lead singer is an even bigger twat than Liam. Mockney prick. One good tune. Song 2. Parklife is one of the worst tunes of all time.
Was taking the piss Blur did a couple of half decent tunes, like Tender and The Universal, but most of their well know tunes were ****e. They were comedy tunes, like a boys version of Aqua. Parklife and Country House were ****ing irritating as ****.
Nah it's very good but more in the style of other bands of the time like The Roses, Charlatans, Blur then move away from that style to the Parlkife nonsense.
'Modern Life Is Rubbish' is a decent enough album. Nothing great but Blur's best by a distance. I saw them live at that time and they were a decent live act. Better than on record/CD/download. Whilst all the Blur v Oasis bollocks was ongoing, Pulp were getting on with being the best band of that era. I prefer them and Suede to Blur or Oasis.
I always think that's by the Mock Turtles. I know it isn't but it's very much them, if you know what I mean.
Yeah I get you. They seemed to move away from that sound quite quickly after that album but to me it's their best stuff.
