I never studied the stats nor claimed any benefits or drawbacks to immigration, I simply gave my personal view based upon my experience of working in Glasgow, others are entitled to disagree based upon their experience in living in close proximity.

By and large most foreigners I have met have been salt of the earth types and whilst I won't deny that there are of course drawbacks to the current immigration laws, I live in hope that we will achieve a decent compromise whereby people who are willing to work will be welcomed and those here for a free ride will get the bum's rush. I think that's fair.
