Very bad day for the fishing teams - Hull get tonked by a tinpot team and Grimsby lose 5-0 to a slightly bigger team called Braintree - there's going to be a lot of cod battering tonight <laugh>

This league is weird! I can't predict any results.

Well done Leeds, you deservedly beat us with a weakened team. More building to be doen by NP.

So who saw that result coming? Just shows what happens when SG plays 442. Will make selection interesting when Gradel & Howson return on Saturday

We're not getting relegated, people need to get off Nige's back, we will be fine yes we got battered, but Leeds did well saturday and were unfortunate to lose and they were due a result. We will show on saturday what we're about. Early season form is worrying but the league isn't won or lost in august, we can still finish top 6, 43 games left plenty more points to win. Most importantly 3 more loan spots in the squad, we'll pull something out the bag. Oh and cameron stewart back soon

Agreed... Even last season, with our superior away form, we got tonked worst then this... We are making the chances, just need the confidence (& another striker) to put them away!

It's worrying that Hull fans (myself included) have to keep reminding ourselves "don't worry, Stewart will be back soon". We shouldn't be a one man team. We have no pace and no goal-threat apart from him.

Seriously, Hull fans cheer up. Our keeper had another good game. You'll be okay this season, no doubt we'll get battered in our next game and you'll be laughing again. There's a long way to go yet.

Agreed - we're not the same team without Stewart.

Palace will be buzzing on Saturday as well - two goals in stoppage time to win their game 2-1.

French Tickler? Hello? Anybody there? In fairness though most of the Hull lads have been good company, regardless what many will tell you you'll play many worse teams than that this season <ok>.

Think this message is in vain, he might have already jumped off the Humber Bridge fella.

I have to say it... albeit with gritted teeth, but fair play to the Leeds fans tonight. Majority on here have been fairly magnanimous... Not easy when you've just tonked a side...

Funny how we've played sh!te in 3 night matches so far, but played half decent on a normal Saturday kick-off.

Not good when you think that Humberside Police have made sure every Yorkshire Derby has an evening slot.
