I have had a number of phals and some of them would melt lead. I do not get these for pleasure, but there's nowt better if you are suffering from flu or a chest infection..It doesn't half clear it up.
Ceylon Chicken + Mushroom Pilau has always been my fave. It's hot so always remember to put the lav paper in the fridge!!! Bart
In old Marlborough Crescent mate. The bus station was just opposite, all pulled down for the Centre for Life. When I was home we always finished off at the Dog & Parrot as you could just cross the road & catch the last bus home. I'm talking 30 years ago. Can't even remember the lasses name. I'm ashamed of that.

Royal Murgh Karai is my current favourite, it's about the same strength as a Madras but lovely flavours. Or I do like a nice King Prawn Bhuna, but not a big fan of the milder creamy type sauces like Masala or Korma.
Prefer thai curiries to indian. I can eat spicy thai. Indian wipe me out. Im a Julian Clary, korma, passanda, tikka etc. Madras and vindaloo and im done for.
Just had a chicken madras. Been for a ****e & my anus is like a blood orange. Can't even have a soak in the bath as I now have a wet room.
