Also not just Juve interested in Cedric apparently: http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/footb...ham-eye-transfer-southamptons-cedric-10697301
Defrel's agent reportedly in England to chat with Saints about a move: http://www.sassuolocalcionews.it/co...-in-inghilterra-si-tratta-con-il-southampton/
I can't see Cedric going, unless we get a crazy bid. We are going to have to replace 2 of our defence as it is.
Would be €'s right? So about £18m. He would put pressure on Tadic big time. He can play main striker, just behind or on the left and right wing.
I agree....I can see us selling 1 or 2 players for top money, but, if we do so, it makes it even less likely that any of the next tranche of players would be sold. We aren't that desperate for money.
40 goals in 190 apps isn't great tho is it let's be honest , but I'll give him a chance. Tbh I've never heard of him.
Seems as though his agent is going to other clubs as well. West Ham and Spurs in the mix. Not sure if article has jumped the gun or if a decision has already been made.
Where are you getting your info from? https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/gregoire-defrel/leistungsdatenverein/spieler/163222
Think this will be in place of Rodriguez I would think. By the sounds of it they seem like similar players being able to play all across the front 3, or up top if need be.
http://www.sassuolocalcionews.it/cop...l-southampton/ "The negotiation with the English club is well advanced: Sassuolo striker could soon leave the Emilia for a new adventure in the Premier. As revealed by Premium Sport , the agent of Gregoire Defrel , Giampiero Pocetta, it would already be in England to evaluate the offer of Southampton. The Sassuolo asks least 20 million. Immediately after the prosecutor will move to Poland to conclude the passage of Lorenzo Pellegrini from neroverde the Giallorossi. The signing is expected in the coming days."
Well either way are we classing 1:5 a good ratio for a striker nowadays then? Just think we should be aiming for slightly better . It's not bad by any means but it's hardly got me on the edge of my seat.
