I'll say this SLOWLY Terrence , my little Phallic Symbol ....... don't throw stones in greenhouses as I think your spiral obsession could well come back to bite you on your arse this coming season ?
" We've Won 3 Trophy's in the last 4 seasons " that's what all the " biggish " clubs say when they can't win the title and throw domestic Cup wins in to the fray when they are basically " Mickey Mouse " Cups that most teams don't even play their best players throughout . In the past 5 seasons Arsenal has a net transfer spend of 200 million , in the past 5 years the Spurs have a net transfer spend of 1 million . They can use the money they don't spend on transfer to sweeten the wage structure . Simple
Arsenal's " Hollow " FA Cup" wins are just bands aids on the open financial waste policy that plaques the Gunners of late .
FA cup isn't a 'mickey mouse' cup and Arsenal have spent that money on transfers because they can afford to, from money that they have earned without any input from a sugar daddy. So tell me, How much money do Spurs have in reserve from their conservative transfer spend, that they can use to break their wage structure and pay the likes of Kane and Alli, a wage that is comparable with other top earners in Europe and for how long can they sustain those wages ?
So not like the Gunners who have managed to amass a £250m cash surplus, whilst also being able to buy players like Ozil and Sanchez and pay them the going rate, all without any input from a sugar daddy ? Okay then, tell me what revenue Spurs have from not spending as much in the market that they can now go and spend on paying Kane, Alli (and increase the wages across the playing staff)
As for the cost of the new stadium , 25 thousand ( I Think ) new seats should take care of that don't you think . Hell , Spurs will have more seats than the Gunners
They still have to pay for it first. But you said that they could afford the top wages from money they have saved by not spending big in the transfer market. So what are those reserves that they have ?
I'm saying when you spent a fuk of a lot less than ALL other clubs on transferring , bumping up a few players wages isn't going to be a grand expenditure . The Spurs are lean and mean ... the Gunners are fat and careless .
Arsenal have been able to spend more because they earn more. This is simple economics mate. If Spurs have been secretly amassing a huge cash surplus from frugal transfer spending, which will enable them to pay comparable wages to the big clubs, then back up your claim and give me the figures
I don't need to do anything , the fact is the Gunners are wasteful and the Spurs aren't . All that money is not doing you much good having a run at a title ....a title that has eluded you for probably a dozen years . More money doesn't mean a better team so you keep spending more .... for less of a team the Spurs have these days . Hey , if your happy bragging about " How much money my team has " while fallin off the title chase , who am I to argue
Let me say this even more S----L---O----W----L-----Y, Buzzy... Ready for this? I______d----o----n------'-----t_____________c------a-------r---------e.
Who's bragging about having more money? I'm talking about having more trophies. The simple economic fact that Arsenal can spend more because their revenue allows them to, seems to have completely escaped you.
Blimey, Roofie! That's a scathing attack on Arsenal and the way that its incompetent board has been profligate with the club's finances. I know that I've had some run-ins with Pixie, but I don't think I have ever been that tough! Pixie is going to be livid, mate!
