Are you referring to those commuters on both planes who took those flights 4 or 5 days a week?

Why would they then get free flights for that day?

The sheeples followed blindly later. If abrahimic religions had started here, there'd be mass maypole and morris dancing, and some cracking whickerman skills. :emoticon-0102-bigsm

So you're saying that we should view his life and deeds in the context of the time he lived, rarher than now because things have moved on. So people shouldn't follow the example he set?

Funny how that applies to ****ing children, yet not to homosexuality, same sex marriage, abortion or other basic civil rights.

I see what you are trying to do here but its already catered for.

The issue of puberty is also explained with the issue of "maturity" of time and societies or groups of people. So the social dynamic has to be considered of any given group or society if people.

This is hukm khas and khum aam. In simple terminology. In English it would be general ruling and specific ruling.

In terms of sex the issue has never been age in Islam as it was in america and Europe (if I recall even in the 20th century america had 7 as the age in one part). Islam placed puberty as the minimum for but said to take in societal and social norms into account

Problem with people today is you judge according to where you are, but religion wasn't just for you it's for all. So in Europe where age of consent is 12-14 and place where is 16 and 18 are all covered.

Its also worth noting that if you travel to say India you will see 9-12 year olds who are maturer than most 19-21 year olds in this country.

In terms of Islam you can scratch abortion and basic civil rights from that list

With homosexuality and same sex marriage its a no no and is what of is

In terms of many other issues, such as say war and femenism etc then there are myths that get perpetuated that in closer inspection show a different picture

So for example the crusades were they really worse than ww1 and 2? And are women really better off today? Has fenism really done anything to further their cause? No if you look at the issues of mental health etc in westernised countries

Problem is no one wants to discuss properly, easier to insult

So other than continuing the pagan rituals, you don't follow the direct example of his life, as things have moved on, rather you follow someone's interpretation of it, or at least selected parts. So it at least means people don't follow some of his examples. like beheading enemies or killing apostates and blasphemers or other 'transgressors'.
