The Tigers can confirm a third friendly fixture has been added to our pre-season schedule. Leonid Slutsky’s men will face French Ligue 1 side FC Nantes at Hull Kingston Rovers KCOM Craven Park Stadium on Tuesday 25th July (KO 7.30pm). Nantes, who have won the French title eight times, finished seventh in Ligue 1 last season and are managed by former Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri. The decision to play at Hull Kingston Rovers’ KCOM Craven Park was to allow time for the KCOM Stadium playing surface to recover after pitch renovations. Tickets details for the fixture will be announced in the coming weeks. Look out for further pre-season fixture announcements in due course.
'The decision to play at Hull Kingston Rovers’ KCOM Craven Park was to allow time for the KCOM Stadium playing surface to recover after pitch renovations.' A little odd, Hull FC are supposed to be playing there on the 21st.
And people wonder why we're largely hated across Europe. Imagine if thousands came here each summer and behaved like that.
