Just see the re-run of that incident. Can't see what the fuss is about. Seb didn't do anything wrong at all.

Yes, that was probably the best race of the past few seasons. You didn't want a little nap in that one!

 

This is the kind of race that happens every 2 or 3 years that make us watch all the dull ones inbetween

 

So, I took a miss on watching Baku because it was a parade last year. Whoops.

I also might owe Lance Stroll an apology...thought it was kinda embarrassing having a Canadian who'd bought a seat in the fashion normally reserved for the favourite sons of oil-rich countries, but there might be a bit of talent in there.

Oh come on. Are you telling me you've never driven passed someone you know, gone to wave "hello" to them and as you take your left hand off the steering wheel, the car suddenly veers to the right? Could have happened to anyone.

 

Best thing about this round of F1 is that many more people will have heard of Baku and Azerbaijan.

 

Whereas if it was the other way round, it would have been Lewis pulling alongside him, throwing a molotov at the car, turning into him at 100mph and threatening to eat his children.

I thought Hamilton was very controlled in the post race interviews. Did well to keep a lid on what he wanted to to do and say.

 

Lions lead the Hurricanes 23-7 at the break.

Finishes 31-31. Exciting finish and Lions nearly scored from a drop kick at the end.

 

Marcus Willis beat Liam Broady in the qualifiers at Roehampton. Should have been neutral as both are British, but have a soft spot for Willis. He was the chubster who came through the first round of Wimbledon last year to play Federer on the Centre Court...lost of course, but got a lot of coverage and his biggest payday ever.

 

Agree - I watched from the start of the 2nd set and found myself supporting Willis.

 

He's a decent player with a good serve...though at 26 he is probably as good as he is going to get.

 

Team announced for next Lions match... AWJ keeps his spot, odd. Henderson had a stormer midweek. Sexton and Farrell to play together, also odd. Te'o had a good game vs NZ. At least Itoje is in.
