Not bad, first ever county wicket: Kumar Sangakkara; first ever international wicket: A B De Villiers.
I was at Cardiff today and I feared for Crane after 2 1/2 overs. He was going for about 15 or 16 an over but he didn't allow it to faze him. Once he got AB out (going entertainingly nuts in the process) he became unplayable. He also made a couple of cracking stops in the field. Got a standing ovation when he came back to the boundary in front of us. Particularly impressed with Tom Curran today.
Awful from Dawson. If you're going to score at a snail's pace you need to get a century to justify it and not get out on 53 and leave us in the ****.
We might just get a batting point at this rate. (Even Vince's SR is awful, so I'm inclined to put a large element of this down to the ball. But we are known for slow batting and, in part therefore, awful bonus point tallies)
This could hardly be any more opposite to the last time we batted against Somerset. And yet we could still end up with roughly the same score.
