Nobody is asking you to sell your faith. People are discussing a number of things, but you obsess about islam in a discussion where people pointing out some truths about some beliefs. The followers of other beliefs seem more comfortable, and less sensitive than you. They don't play the internet warrior, dishing out threats. Your ranting reaction makes you look silly. Nothing is above being looked at closely.

You're not really helping your argument. It's not about Islam, that's just you being oversensitive and insecure. There was a fair amount that became Islam focussed, but only because muslims dragged it that way. Argue the points, not the person.
Anyway let's not have the slagging off of others that hold a different point of view. This thread should be about exchanging views without prejudice. It's up to the people what they believe so let's cut it here folks.
If 3 or more ****s are used in 1 post and threats or sexual slurs about other poster's family are thrown up because people are discussing God then it says a lot about the mind-set of the individual. Poor show yet again Spurlock.
His rants are actually more critical and disrespectful of some of the fundamental traditions of faiths than most of what others have posted.
This whole thread of agnostics/atheists vs god. Had the same rant at a baptist Christian in the pub one night. My theory was aliens. His best mate interestingly was a judge, who had converted from Islam to a baptist. Was sat there drinking bud on draught. I instantly thought he was a twat for his choice of booze.
I read the von daniken books quite a few years ago, and he makes some interesting comparisons, but stretched his 'evidence' too far. The latest promoters of the argument, like the bloke that looks like he's had an exploding cigar, are generally easier to find holes with. It's an interesting theory though.

Yeah, I'd just started senior school when Von Daniken's books came out. We thought they were the answer to everything. Pestered our physics teacher into watching an episode of Horizon about it all in the late 70's. They ****ing destroyed him. Been cynical about conspiracy theories ever since.
The term conspiracy theory was coined by the CIA after Kennedy was killed to demonise people asking questions about suspicious events. They have made "truther" another word for tin foil hat wearer now. Classic doublespeak.
