Personally I think he is been very stupid, and we are been a bit hysterical If he thinks he will get a lot of games and develop further at Stoke he is mistaken, they have a very good Dutch full back who is highly rated by Hughies, with decent cover. Far better development for him to stay with us and actually play. As for the hysteria about him going, people need to chill, even if we had signed him on a pro contact he would have just forced a move, he and his "advisors" seem to think been at a premiership club will be better long term. Good luck to the lad, hope he has a good career, but I am sure we will be fine without him
That's bollocks, only one club have offered him a professional contract and that's the club he'll end up playing for, he never wanted to leave.
Fair enough, then why are his "advisors" not going to the club/new DoF and saying "actually we want to stay but would like a professional contract" ? Given the position we are in, how highly rated he is, and a new DoF in place they would be in a good position to ask for, and get, a pro deal. They must have had that same conversation with Stoke. Instead they are planning a leaving party.
The club were given a final opportunity to offer a deal before anything was agreed with Stoke, but they declined.
Ironically, I believe there may have been a rethink after Pennock returned last week, but it was too late and he'd already signed an agreement with Stoke.
It just doesn't wash. Come off it. Tymons gone for the money. The single biggest mistake of his young life. Terrible advice given to him.
Fair one, not aware of the club actually declining to offer a deal when given the opportunity. From what I have read it seemed that they had the not actively sought a deal with City and had declined an offer. In that case it's definitely a bother failure by Boy Wonder. You would have thought that in this day and age we could salvage a deal from it (most contracts don't seem to be worth paper they are written on)
He was offered one and rejected it. The club knew there was no chance as his head was already turned by the **** of an agent. Now he's gone to Stoke The greedy little ****er. Not even his agent can spin that as a good move.
Ehab took the piss. Carry on defending him if you wish, I'm sure most can make their own minds up about who's really responsible.
Yep it's blatantly obvious. Even with all the propaganda you're spouting on here of your, inside knowledge.
I really don't believe Ehab just let a highly rated young lad with first team games, England youth call ups and interest from the premier league leave for **** all because he couldn't be arsed to offer a contract. Particularly when others have had contracts. I'm sorry but that's about as unlikely as a pig sprouting wings and flying to mars. I think the well known massive twat of an agent he's represented by is probably the reason he's leaving.
He will no doubt give an interview with his new club about it being the only club he wanted to sign for when he heard they were interested. You'll be able to hear the pages of the script being turned.
If he wanted to stay, he'd stay.....he has gone for money, nothing more nothing less, the agent gets his % and now really Wont give a **** if Tymon plays or not. Until the next contract negotiations of course! Not everything is ehabs fault.....
Unfortunately you are wrong. I was sitting next to Tymon's agent at the Old Trafford semi final. He said that he, Josh and his father were desperate to get a contract signed but they were being completely messed around by City. They had had a contract put to them which was then withdrawn and a worse contract offered. Understandably they were trying to get a reasonable deal for Josh but the will was there to get a deal done for him to sign for City because that was Josh's preferred option.
