Oh and btw, you are speaking to a guy who just voted for a Jeremy Corbyn led Labour part at the last general election..... Right wing.... I have read the Quran and both testaments of the bible, if I interpreted something wrong (it was 20 years ago) and you feel you want to discuss your opinion on certain passages thats fine..... But dont talk **** about Atheists not making an informed decision because they havent read all the Holy Books, thats like saying Lesbians only like women because they havent found the right cock. Most Atheists wouldn't read Holy Books, because they have zero interest in it, the subject matter does not interest them. Same as most guys wouldnt have to read Fifty Shade of Grey to know they wouldnt like it.
Yes I did as it happens. Yeah you said about the horrible verses before and as I said one step at a time. That step was "kill them where you find them" and you clearly don't know what you were on about. So you fail Oh and the Orlando bloom example was to show that it should be common example as even Hollywood understands that verse. But its OK if you didnt get that as it seems you don't get much
Like I said, you could have offered your own interpretation without being a giant ****ing douchebag about it.
@thefanwithnoname Tell me have you ever ****ed a guy up the arse? No? Then how do you know you aren't gay? you cant make an informed decision unless you've done a guy up the ****ter......
Tbf from the discussion on here suggests that you would be the kind of person to vote corbyn because it was the cool thing to do. It doesn't appear you have read anything either or not very well anyway. Your decisions don't come across informed at all. And as for being disinterested atheists spend more time thinking about religion than the religious
Conjecture! Right before you accuse me of not being informed Mate, I know I am Atheist, because I have read holy scriptures, I have been to church sermons, I have even been to a mosque, I know the general idea behind Christianity and Islam and its message, what it tries to teach. It did not grip me, it did not inspire me, it did not inflame any sort of passion or excitement or wonder inside me.......I mean no offence to you as an individual when I say this, but it appears to me to be a load of old bollocks, pure and simple. Its not because I am not informed, that there is some book out there, that if I read it I would change my whole life and "discover God", just deal with the fact that some people don't have religious faith and stop making excuses for what you perceive as shortcomings in others, to make you feel better. Take issue with my interpretations of the Quran, thats fine, but dont dare try to tell me, or anyone, what they believe and why they believe it. And with that, I am done.
For the clarity of others, i will do a simple explanation of the verse...god willing. This verse was revealed before the battle of Badr to give permission and conditions, as the companions were seeking permission to retaliate and get their possessions back after being persecuted for their beliefs and made homeless from Makkah. They emigrated to various palaces, main being Medina where the Prophet (saw) was invited by those who had taken the oath of Islam. Hope this clarifies for those interested...
We haven't got past quote one. Why bo No interpretation, as I said it was in the verses before I told you/asked you to look and you didn't. Who is the ****ing douchbag?
You blasted me for Googling it is what you did, then you did a 180 and blasted me for not googling it Lets end this, because it will get us no where. For my part at least, I am fine with your beliefs
I am going by the discussion on here, I was clear about that. I dont take offence tbh so say what you like it'd never a surprise. One day some one will discuss these topics without the apparent ignorance and the clear religious grudge and that will be a surprise And yeah you can claim to be an atheist but it's clear its not based on an informed choice. Fad of the day syndrome. It happens look at brexit
That's not what happened but its clear you are happy to make things up to stake a position. On my part I am fine with that its something i expect from atheists. If you don't believe me justvliok back on this thread and my response to the names thrown around like Harris and Dawkins Like I said arguing with atheists is entertaining and passes time when fasting With that I will go and cook some food as I honestly have a new revert/convert coming for iftari. Ex atheist now Muslim. Allah ho Akbar
