I hate 'goal music'

I was just talking to a mate who is a palace fan, and he told me it seems that they have scrapped their 'goal music'. Needless to say, he is delighted.

There are still numerous clubs which play goal music, clubs like Burnley, forest, rochdale, norwich, etc etc.

But why? Nothing replicates the sound made by thousands of happy celebrating english fans.

If they ever introduced goal music at the valley, i would burn the stadium down

Damn right mate, it's americanism taking hold. They'll be sounding hooters next and having cheerleaders (although I wouldn't mind that so much)

 

Hideous.

Especially "I Feel Good" and "The Baby Elephant Walk".

Ugh...

 

Nor would I if they all looked like the redhead with the abs at Dagenham and Redbridge last season - the only bright spot in a ghastly afternoon.

 

'Goal music' is just an admission that the home fans can't make enough noise.

that bloddy norwich one winds me up every sodding goal even for disallowed ones whats the point

 

i would rather charlton be in the blue square south division than have goal music
