    Chilwell was awesome last night.

Gray got the goal and the assist but Chilly was definitely MOTM.

    Happy days.

  2. Yeah, but they don't very often walk the plank into the waters of relegation, Bambs.

It's building nicely ... this kid from Norwich (if we get him) is a goal machine .. Gray, Chilwell, Ndidi, Kaputska and the 19 year old Chester FC club captain centre-back ... Harvey Barnes and Elliot Moore in the England Toulon tournament winning side ... future is looking rather fine <ok>

I think what HAIG is saying is that if you're not in the champions league places you're likely to get relegated as in his mind football doesn't exist outside the top 4 and he most certainly doesn't have any knowledge of it apart from when Spurs finish in the Europy spots :emoticon-0148-yes: saying something like League 1 to him and he's flailing not knowing what it is

For your sake, on this thread, mate.

  9. As always, when you try to interpret the meaning in my actions and predict what I may or may not believe, you are wrong, Johnny.

There are many clubs outside the top 4 that I believe are unlikely to get relegated.

It's always a matter of opinion - if any of us could predict the future I doubt we spend any time on this forum, let's face it - but I would certainly place LCFC in the category "wouldn't be surprised if they did get relegated." This isn't the same as saying that I think LCFC will get relegated.

I hope that explanation dispels your ignorance, Johnny?

The bookies have us as the 11th favourite for relegation. It would certainly be a surprise.

    @PISKIE I'm claiming this WUM **** up.

    The bookies think the table will finish as follows;

    1) Man City
    2) Man Utd
    3) Chelsea
    4) Spurs
    5) Liverpool
    6) Arsenal
    7) Everton
    8) Southampton
    9) Leicester
    10) West Ham
    11) Stoke
    12) Newcastle
    13) Bournemouth
    14) Palace
    15) Swansea
    16) West Brom
    17) Brighton
    18) Burnley
    19) Watford
    20) Huddersfield

For expressing an opinion that is different to that of the bookies!

You do realise, don't you, that the bookies adjust their odds to take account of where the betting-public place their money? They are not setting themselves up as experts, or claiming that they know what is going to happen!

I should claim Pixie's self-love points for having the patience to correspond with a simpleton, but I would find that far too tragic.

There lies the problem Bell, bookies do have excellent knowledge of all things they lay. Of course this changes with results and monies laid by punters. You show all the classic naiveties of a spunky flannel and best kept to threads about card tricks and photography as your scratch n sniff football knowledge could be written on a postage stamp.

  13. Strictly speaking, that would be 40 of Pixie's self-love points to me, for your outrageous plagiarising of my work.

However, I donate those points to Pixie.

Add them to your tragic tally-of-woe, Pix.

I know the betting public affects the odds.

So what you're saying is that, despite many thousands of people betting that Leicester will in fact retain Premier League status, it wouldn't be a surprise to you?

Because if you are (and it sounds like you are) I'm still claiming those points.

Every year, thousands of Mousers **** the odds on 'Pool winning the title, but they never win it.

Because you continue to be a Muppet on this point, I'm claiming my 40 Pixie Self-Love Points and gifting them to Pix (as his fragile ego needs them).

    Post 'em up, Pix!

Unlucky Bell I was using that phrase on the BBC 606 whilst you were locked under the stairs for giving your mummy a crispy flannel but a nice try.
1 point claimed for the WFU @PISKIE

But we're not just talking about Liverpool fans, are we? <rofl>

The bookies have Liverpool finishing 5th, that's down on last season's finish of 4th. Can't be altering the odds that much, can they?

@PISKIE Sort this out Piskie, i'll just claim the normal 3 point (unless he continues, of course)
