My team would be this: GK: Lonergan RB: Lees CB: Bromby CB: Kisnorbo LB: O'Dea CM: Clayton CM: Brown RAM: McCormack CAM: Nunez LAM: Snodgrass ST: Keogh I thourght the defence was good against Boro so i wouldnt change that. I think snoddy needs to play because with no gradel, howson or becchio he's the only long serving player in the front 6 so we need a bit of passion up there. I don't rate sam that much and this formation was a great formation for the duration of last season.
Snodgrass would be on the right though? I think Lloyd Sam has done well - nothing spectacular but he seems to know what to do with the ball when he gets it, i.e. beat his man and get a cross in.
He's a good old fashioned wing player, beats full backs and puts good crosses in, simple but effective. Decent finisher too.
Team news: Lonergan, Lees, O'Dea, Kisnorbo, White, Snodgrass, Brown, Clayton, Nunez, McCor, Keogh. Subs: Rach, Connolly, Bruce, Sam, Thompson.
4-4-2 it is then, not a bad looking line-up considering... Glad Nunez is in although wish he was more central... Game on..
He could be, with McCormack out wide. I'm not convinced about Nunez's crossing. His corners haven't been great and I think he'd be more of a threat in the Howson role than wide left.
You might be right, would explain the more attacking option of White at LB as he would have a 5 man midfield for cover, O'Dea move left and Brown drop back when White is forward?
