To me that lad has missed his great chance to establish himself at United. He had great potential but somehow seems to let his fame go to his head. I think a 9.7m is not such a bad gamble for real sociedad. In a few years, he could be worth £40m+ . Who knows?
tbf i think that about pretty much all transfers these days i fear i'm turning into my old man - "back in my day you could go out for a night with a shilling in my pocket etc" - but the exponential rate of transfer fees is simply astonishing and worrying.
Well he's already had his chance in the PL at Chelsea, and he never looked comfortable for them. So it's a lot of money to spend on a player who's already shown he can't cut it in English football.
Equally that could be said of Kevin De Bruyne. My own opinion is it seems an awful lots for someone who is definitely not the finished article and remains very much a punt. We'll see. There's no doubt that all transfer fees are overinflated, this Salah bloke is one amongst many who are costing probably twice their actual value.
It started to go downhill when he jumped on the Belgium bandwagon at the last world cup, he thought he could get himself some world cup glory on the back of doing absolutely nothing. He didn't deserve or warrant a place in that squad and him parachuting himself in showed me he wanted things easy, I said it at the time and I've only been proven correct. He's done absolutely **** all since that world cup.
Hopefully these reports of him 'returning to pre-season training early' are more a case of him keeping his fitness up in order to pass a transfer medical. Really don't want to see his smug face on the bench soaking up superstar wages in return for the odd goal next season.
Apparently you have bid £61.5m for Marquinhos according to reports in Brazil - know that Mouriniho is a fan but enough to bid that much?
PSG has put in a bid of £120m (might be euros) for Mbbape. BUT, WTF?!! The amount of money flying around these days is just fkin ridiculous.
Apparently Arsene is going to raid all of his sofas and Arsenal are going to bid £125m for him. In other news, Fabinho is desperate to join you - is one step away from composing sonnets it seems like and you have apparently had a £30m + £5m add-ons a bid accepted.
