His assertion is that everybody is agnostic because their beliefs cannot be absolutely proven. I disagree with that assertion.
Or totally up the wrong tree. I don't know about you but I always get a feeling of 'wow, that was a waste of my life and thinking' They make for **** gods
Most gods do. At least there's some rational thinking behind the scientists, and I can pick others without fear even if some of the more misguided advocate missing meals. There are few if any that will claim to have made the world and everything in it, and they don't tend to slaughter people with opposing versions, at least not these days. They just try ti increase understanding and work for progress.
Very true, ultimately I for one, through hook or by crook, through fighting my own demons and doubts life may throw at me will always recognise that there is a God and he is good, it's us that have the ability to be corrupt. That's how my thought patterns ultimately go mate, in important matters of life.
The beauty of science is that it doesn't pretend to know all the answers: the ugliness of religion is that it doesn't even allow any questions.
Exactly, you can't. A true agnostic believes only in that which is knowable. He is sceptical or disbelieving in anything else. That's where faith comes in, it requires no proof. It just accepts.
Nah doubt it.... I believe you are ****, dont exist, no balls and @petersaxton gimp....can you prove thats not thr case by tomorrow otherwise thats what you are... Good night Gimp...
Were you in set four for everything at school? Honestly, you've latched onto something that I had to explain when I was saying there is no need for the term agnostic to sit in between theist and atheist, there is absolutely no reason for it imo. You've said you'll prove me wrong and all you've done is repeat what I wrote or suggest that I've dismissed faith. I've seen less knots in a scouts training camp!
If I don't exist, you're talking to something you only imagine. I am in fact your God, although I deny creating you myself. I'm not getting the blame for that.
What I said was, if you read back instead of going off on one, is that I believe that your assertion that we are all agnostics is wrong. Any knots are of your own making.
