In terms of the whole secular thing aye. I completely forgot about the Lords spiritual, kinda killed my angle No point fighting a lost cause and looking a **** like Highburyal
The many different religions, many killing each other for dominance say he gives a different version. I've offered you a sort of scientific test in another reply. You up for it?
The same one that told the Aztecs to sacrifice children then? The same one who told the Japanese that it was okay to slaughter 200k souls in Nanking?
That's a clear suggestion. Your attempts to portray me as a racist are just as dishonest, too. Very cowardly. It's almost as if you don't have an argument, so you're just throwing out attacks at anyone that disagrees with your opinion. No, hang on, that's exactly what it is.
I thought that I was being obvious with the comparisons between him and his argument about Dawkins not being an atheist. Too subtle? Not something I get accused of on here much!
You really haven't. Sam Harris is atheist but wants torture Like of Huxley were atheist and posed the race science questions Religion says no to both Go figure
WTF are you talking about a 'true atheist'? They don't have to refute ****, they qualify as atheists by simply not believing, nothing else matters. You don't subscribe to some set of rules. There's no sliding scale of atheism. It's just a lack of belief. We are all agnostic, an agnostic is somebody who believes it's impossible to prove the existence or non-existence of God. Nobody can prove or disprove the existence of God.
No, it was Richard Dawkins travelling backwards and forwards in time, urging irrationality and the persecution of humans who don't tow the established faith.
I couldn't give a flying **** what they say, but by religious logic, god made them in his image, as he did with the religious crack pots killing each other.
I'm not a big fan of religion, but I'm also not a big fan of religion bashing either. For some people religion serves as a good moral compass and can create a lot of good in the world I would say it's the institutions of power that assume the authoritative power over who controls religious doctrine, which then they use/abuse to suit their own needs. That is more of a Political ruling class issue than specifically a Religious one, although Religion is used as the vehicle to exercise the power.
Really what? Is it really a clear suggestion? Yes. It's blatant. Are you a Muslim? I don't know. I don't know you. You claim to be, but you might just be one of those wannabe Muslims. Is Ramadan getting to you? I've no idea. I didn't say that it was, though.
An atheist refutes the existence of a supreme being and believes that creation is explainable by science. We are not all agnostics, ffs! Ask Spurlock if he has any doubts. Ask Al if he has any! It's called faith!..
