What is actually still in the pram? Am sure the pram was eventually chucked into landfill around the VVD/Liverpool saga!
Probably get taken over on deadline day eve, then sign Robinho and Jo as the transfer window slams shut a la Man City.
Damn he sounds pretty good. Not too much on actual performances bar the first two but he sounds just like the sort of coach we'd want.
Ah, so that's how the lovely Mrs Godders will be taking you to the games next season... pushed in the pram.
New thread dated July 2019: Why the **** have we allowed Pellegrino to join Liverpool as manager, just because he played for them once!! *awaits Johnny shuttle
Played for Liverpool for 6 months aswell and was their assistant manager for 2 years, so he can let our players know what it is like to play there before they move which is a nice bonus.
Unless the board was largely content with Puel from a performance standpoint, but felt that the rift between him and the players was too deep to heal. That's my working theory, at least.
That's the trickier part. The rift between him and the fans owed to the fact that we played really, really boring football. Pellegrino is probably not going to be the antidote to that; his style isn't Puel's (it's less sideways passing, more not having the ball in the first place), but it wasn't exactly predicated on attacking elan either.
