    What is actually still in the pram? Am sure the pram was eventually chucked into landfill around the VVD/Liverpool saga!

    I believe the pram was sold to Liverpool for £4m and apparently came with a free Rickie Lambert...

    Played for Liverpool for 6 months aswell and was their assistant manager for 2 years, so he can let our players know what it is like to play there before they move which is a nice bonus.

    Unless the board was largely content with Puel from a performance standpoint, but felt that the rift between him and the players was too deep to heal. That's my working theory, at least.

    That's the trickier part. The rift between him and the fans owed to the fact that we played really, really boring football. Pellegrino is probably not going to be the antidote to that; his style isn't Puel's (it's less sideways passing, more not having the ball in the first place), but it wasn't exactly predicated on attacking elan either.
