Hmmm.... it seems unlikely that the vampires would be biting without MITO mentioning it... but then again he might have thought the vampires were at a disadvantage. How do you know this? We may have been completely played by the perfect double bluff. But if we have been then he deserves the win anyway. I seriously doubt it though.
I'm pretty sure all the other games I've played that have included vampires have announced successful bites. That's not to say this game won't be different.
We've had both before. I've been a (converted) vamp before and the bite was announced but I am fairly sure there were other games where it wasn't. I was expecting them to be announced in this game, but can't see anything in the rules that says one way or the other.
If we're following the rules of Town Of Salem game, then the bite won't be announced. I mentioned this before, but in the game Town Of Salem on which this is mostly based, the backstabber (known as the Jester) wants to get himself lynched. If they achieve it, they get one final act of haunting (i.e. killing) one of the Town who voted them up. It's not in the rules here, but could it happen anyway? Just something to bear in mind maybe.
