No, that was a dumb piece of racist ****. You should be more concerned with the country you claim to live in and the 45 UN resolutions that the despot nation is in breach of. Prick.
No it isn't. As I said the numbers are in decline in Europe and the US but growing rapidly in the rest of the world including China. The point has never been church goers - Bod said religion is in decline and it simply isn't.
Its fine saying "Oh there are more Christians blah blah"....in numbers maybe, of people who say in some ****ty poll "Yeah Im christian". But they are not practicing Christians. Religion is not a part of our government, it does not dictate policy and (in Europe at least), it does not oppress the non religious with its bullshit. It can do no more damage = it is dying.
It simply is....... It has no power any more, to do anything, other than claim tax breaks and molest the children of parents idiotic enough to leave their offspring in the care of these ****s.
Not sure making new laws to prosecute people questioning religion like Trudeau's new Blasphemy laws is the way forward either. If you are German and type I don't want any more Muslims in Germany on Facebook you can be arrested now.
A very quick google produced this - ''Although America currently experiences more of a religious influence than Australia, Faircloth discussed that unlike America, our government funds religious schools. Also above America, our two major political parties are giving into the demands of the Australian Christian Lobby, a group that bases its policies and agenda from strict religious beliefs.''
He was a serving military employee and I can at least see the reasoning behind it. They could have chopped up many more people but decided to give interviews.
A Quick google would also show what exactly those demands have been in the past.....its mostly economical stuff, nothing barbaric. If it followed strict religious beliefs then homosexuals would be outlawed for a start. The only way in which Australia lags behind the civilised world is in same sex marriage. That will soon be rectified.
http://www.longlooking.com/2011/10/...luence-in-international-politics-and-culture/ The Russian Orthodox Church is now aiming to restore these values and overcome modernization’s atomizing effects on post-Soviet Russian society. According to a 2004 study by the Kennan Institute, the Orthodox Church is Russia’s second most trusted institution, behind the presidency, with far greater credibility than the media, the police, the army, or the overall government.
What does that have to do with your claim that there were no terrorist attacks in London while Johnson was mayor?
Every time I counter a claim, you shift the goal posts Fact is religion is involved in government - there's huge amount of evidence to back me up on this.
Personally, I'm not a believer. Certainly not in the sense of what's written in the various religious texts. Having said that, I try to avoid criticising the deeply held beliefs of others. In the end, it's pointless. I'm not going to change their views anymore than they will change mine.
I wrote "I don't think there were any..." 1 wasn't bad compared to Khan's rising body count . If there was only 1 so far I doubt I would even raise it as a concern.
So we can't criticise the London Mayor or Muslims for the latest trend of Jihadi attacks in London? Fair enough I better buy some more candles and pray away the senseless murders .
My point was, it is on the decline, which it is. Its involved in government to minor degrees, in places I will never go, and frankly do not care about..... I will concede that.
