Not sure on this one. He has been talked about as having an extremely bright future for sometime but never really excelled in the championship to the degree where it was clear he was too good for that league. Potentially a good signing but it may be the case he was slightly overhyped because he was young and English. At 22 he needs to start stepping up to that next level.
Whenever I've seen him he has looked very good. Not the flashy type who will skin a load of players, but good range of passing and clever football brain. Missed all of last year with an ACL injury but doesn't seem to have effected him too much this year. And for the rumoured 8m I think it could turn out to be a bit of a bargain
Yeah you have a good point about the price tag. £8m is standard price for unproven foreign player so this seems decent, especially if they can help him progress to the next level.
Sanchez is arguably the nest player in the division and would start ahead of any city player in his position. So in my view it's clear he starts for any club in the league
Saints fans often point out players that are 'failures' for us, but they always forget that this happens at other clubs as well. Sometimes things don't work out...either because the player isn't good enough or just doesn't suit one particular team.
I think this young man had a huge amount of talent but got lost in his early fame and Man U isn't a place for some young men to flourish (like Luke Shaw) and quickly lost his way completely when he was shipped off to Sunderland. Shame
I can see a lot of transfers failing to go through as the price is too high. One example being Arsenal supposedly wanting £20m for Wojciech Szczesny.
Twenty doesn't sound too high to me However, the reason that we should never sign him is that we would never manage to spell his name.
