Its true though, English weather sucks.
Was 36 degrees in Greece when I was there last year and I handled it fine.
This current heatwave though, is unbearable....cant be doing with it. Literally Hell on Earth!!

  3. That's not true, though, is it, mate?

If it was literally Hell on Earth the ground would be on fire, and there'd be demons using pitch-forks to pile babies into molten tar. I haven't seen any of that.

The ground is on fire. Impossible to walk bare footed.
As for the demons with pitch forks.....head over to the politics thread.......you will see plenty of demons with pitch forks <laugh>

Imagination is more important than knowledge but one wonders was it a family member that twisted your brain. Is it still your special secret Bell?

The last week has been testing for us, with a newborn baby in the house.

The worst part for me is how much graft I've had to do, 3 of my clients are demanding my full attention on the day after Ramadan finishes and it means me grafting like a mule to prepare, when I should be outside drinking cider and talking bollocks.

I'm self employed... although when I say newborn, she's 2 months old.

    Hang on till Friday mate.

It's gonna get easier. Just tomorrow to get through.

After that, just a day till Eid!
