Good Morning Everyone Fixture lists out today at 9am Who do we hope for on the first day? Simon O'Rourke@simon_orourke A bit of (late) news.. Hearing GFH were holding up the takeover deal because of the Elland Road plans. Interesting how much power they have. It has been revealed that Leeds have a 20m budget in the Summer transfer window!!! thoughts?
Is £20,000,000 more than £2 because TC and Mighty will sulk if it is. Morning Elland where did you get that figure from ?
Morning Elland and all. Budget good news if true and if spent wisely. Is that made up of 15m for Wood and 5 for Taylor
Seems much of our management structure is Spanish especially after we announced Gaby Ruiz as Head of European scouting. This means that Orta has brought in most of the management & coaches? If Orta is as good as we hope there shouldn't be a problem, but if he's crap it means Radz and us have been shafted and wholesale changes would need to happen yet again ffs.
No bad thing having plenty of Spanish contacts as Spanish football is brilliant, well managed and has DoF with great academies underneath and plenty of top kids from around the world especially Brazil. I expect to see a few signing soon most of which we'll have to use google to find out about. The Italian thing wasnt great for us except a couple of players, so lets hope any we bring in are gems and not duds
I think the budget figure was made up by some bloke on Twitter (that gets lots of info wrong). Given that no one knew about the coach situation I can't imagine Radz would let the amount we have to spend leak out. Morning by the way.
Morning all... The new scout was given the "European" tag so I hope it means just that and not solely Spain. I agree with Doc, could be a genius move (getting these backroom guys in place) or disaster waiting to happen. I just hope Rads lack of football knowledge is not being taken advantage of. I will be surprised if we have announced a transfer budget, amazed actually.
