Impressive and the places look to give it a hell of a strong look about it.

To quicken away like that against the best 5F sprinters around is just sensational

My old favourite Sailors Warn running in the next at Stratford - ought to be going close off that mark.

Pissed it Sailors Warn - can see him going on a nice little winning spree now, Ian Williams seems to have rejuvenated him <ok>

    Bummer

Can't crib the result though, runs on well with no real excuses for Churchill

Very nice. The fav bombed out and probably needs a break. Barney Roy doesn't do anything massively quickly, should they step him up to 10F?

I don't think he has been that good all season really (not compared to recent years)

What a problem to have: Ribchester or Barney Roy for the Sussex Stakes.

Only 18 days away stick, can't see it. I think he could maybe be a Juddmonte International horse, send Ribchester for the Sussex and then both to Champions Day.

Well they have Ribchester, so I don't see why they'd have them both at a mile taking on one another. Though there is a mile race in France, if they don't want to send them both to the Sussex.

Based on today's races, visually atleast, Ribchester is the best miler. Not sure Churchill benefited from tactics to be honest. Looked a little slow today. Probably needed a better pace. Maybe didn't enjoy the ground? Either way Barney Roy mopped up without really impressing. The places just too close to think it's a good race.

I think the ground may determine where they next race. I could see Ribchester going for the Prix Jacques Le Marois if it is quick ground at Goodwood; or they may step one of them up to ten furlongs.

I could not see Churchill winning like an 8/15 shot and he did not even feature in the finish. I expect the stewards will order him routinely tested but he ran really flat. Thunder Snow got a lot closer than at The Curragh but the excuses for Barney Roy after Newmarket are well documented, so it is turning out to be a pretty good day for Godolphin. The time was just over half a second slower than the Queen Anne.

He sometimes sits to far off the pace in the first race and needs to be closer to Lancaster bomber. Having said that the boys in blue done a job on Churchill that kept him away from his pacemaker
