Hope he has time to say goodbye to big ears as he won't ever be seeing that again.

Chelsea ready to hijack Morata's move to Man Utd: Abramovich sanctions £70m bid!

Jose Mourinho is thought to be edging closer to landing the Real Madrid striker but Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has other ideas.

Diego Costa is set to leave the Blues after falling out of favor with Antonio Conte and the Italian has already told him he won't be in his plans next season. And according to the Mirror, Morata is seen as an ideal replacement.

They claim Russian billionaire Abramovich has sanctioned a £70m bid to tempt the forward into choosing Stamford Bridge over Old Trafford.

Morata is a reserve player at Madrid yet he's still costing you 70m.

It's like buying a reject for top dollar. Which is actually worse than being a selling club.

    Selling clubs have constraints.

    It's mad isn't it
Its only a few million less than Barca paid for Suarez ffs
Saying that 15 goals and 4 assists in 26 appearances (14 starts,12 as a sub), is not a bad stat.
But he is playing in a league where teams do not know how to defend (other than Atletico).

Kelechi Iheanacho has scored 12 Premier League goals in 1278 minutes.
Alvaro Morata has scored 25 La Liga goals in 2312 minutes.

One is 4 years younger than the other yet is going for about 50m less.

Morata had the best goals per minute ratio in La Liga after Lionel Messi this season. Not a bad stat to have in a league that contains Suarez, Neymar, Benzema, Ronaldo and Griezmann innit.

AKCJ is counting his previous spell in La Liga, before he was at Juve, when Morata was a kid.
    Hardly fair.
And I dont even want to sign the guy.

You mean when Morata was the same age as Iheanacho?

If ou want to include his Serie A stats he's got a total of 40 goals scored in 5089 minutes, one every 127 minutes.

Iheanacho has a goal every 106 minutes, and he's 4 years younger.

means **** all, players blossom at different ages.
Look at Owen and Rooney, knocking em in at 18.
Then look at players like Drogba.....

3 seasons is a long time in football to mature.
Who the **** was Delli Alle 3 seasons ago?
or Harry Kane, or N'Golo Kante, or Jamie Vardy, Riyad Mahrez etc etc

Jamie Vardy scored 5 goals in an entire season at Leicester in the Premier League.

Let's all just look at stats and decide that stats make the player.
