It's not hair splitting if the reason he didn't come had nothing to do with it being Hull City who bid for him.
As I rephrased it, we have indeed had one of our targets reject us despite a bid being accepted. The hair splitting is the reasoning for the rejection but the player still rejected the move.
I thought Slutsky was or has gone back to russia for another couple of days,Hence why it is still quiet on the news front.
A lot of targets are on holiday around this time, think its just a case of being patient, i think we'll see a very busy time of in's and out's starting next week, leading up to the 3rd of july.
Yes it does, they won't be finalised till the players are back and they are probably taking the time to mull over things
He had to pop back to collect his visa, but I don't think he had to stay there, I believe he just had to collect it in person.
Surely they're one and the same? If he turned us down because he didn't like fish and chips or the Royal Mail or that he'd have to play an away game against Leeds, he's still rejecting us? They're all part of the package that playing for us contains?
Yep. If we put an offer to him after a bid is accepted and he says "No, I don't want to play in England" that's still a rejection of playing for Hull City.
