Seems like Elmo to Villa is the obvious call. Slutsky's rebuilding job has just got a little bit bigger.
I've got a lot of good memories of Elmo bombing down the right hand side and whipping crosses in, but my lasting memory of him will be him at Bournemouth where he let Jordan Ibe in behind time and time again all afternoon. He did do well for the first couple of years in a city shirt, but his times up. I'd wish him the best, but I can't endure another season of him at RB.
I doubt Kalas is signing for us. Tonight he's liked a load of comments on Instagram slating Hull, and saying how he should sign for Fulham
I will drive Elmo myself. I believe he's been one of the big issues we had especially prior to Silva coming in. The formation and system we played was based on the idea that he was a great crosser of the ball and we just resorted to that style of play.
I would prefer players who want to be at the club myself, rather than those who "like" negative comments about our club
Doesn't surprise me, he knows London, and if it comes down to a choice between the 2 I would expect he would want to stay with Fulham.
Same here, he will already be settled in West London, have a place, be around friends, living in the vibrant capital. Fulham are likely to be challenging for promotion and will be paying the same wages we would offer. Would like to have seen him here as he is a decent player, but I want players who put in the all for our club
I get the impression our main targets are turning us down. Slutsky's been in the building for a week or so now, he said he wanted 90% of the squad signed before July 3rd meaning he wanted players through the door asap. We've been linked with a few, not loads... but still no one's signed. All we know so far is that Doumbia? turned us down and possibly Kalas too. I think its a case of getting the first one through the door and the rest will follow. Because right now all people are talking about is who's leaving us, not who's signing for us.
If thats the case we can like the comments at the end of the season when we go up and he misses out again.
