There used to be an Italian bakery in the old one. Can anyone remember what they called it? Big slices of pizza for a quid.
Looks like they've done a decent job of it... please log in to view this image please log in to view this image
It's ridiculously hot. There's no real air circulation which is the problem. Still, ice cream vans and cold drink sales will be flying due to our heat fuelled misery.
Something is happening on that derelict corner I have been harping on about which includes the old Baileys building, Lloyds/TSB bank building, the Chinese formerly known as May Sum/Miss Buffet and a tattoo shop that was next to the formerly Gough & Davy's/ Mad Dog Music shop. The tattoo shop, Lloyds/TSB bank building and the May Sum/ Miss Buffet building have all got Sold signs on them, anyone know what's happening on that corner?
Had to go to Maplins to buy a desk fan this lunch. Not been that close to the Venue before. It looks quite impressive.
Quite possibly Dennis but I was more interested in bought by whom and what future plans they had for the buildings.
