It's now been over 2 decades since Publicity Pete oversaw one of the most dramatic meltdowns of a major footballing force.

During that time I've wished on many occasions that we'd somehow disbanded and reformed as a non league team to rid ourselves of the utterly unscrupulous and downright bedeviled owners we've had to endure.

Now we have an owner who is professional, one who has assembled a serious management team. Today he let them start their work and quite rightly he will now judge them on how they deliver his vision.

So my message to anyone who is feeling a little bit less than enthralled by our new coach or senior management team is quite simply this...why would you expect someone who has owned our club less than one month to have done any more.

Does anyone seriously expect to turn 20 years of mismanagement/asset stripping on it's head by the start of the new season !

    Have I missed something?

What has he done apart from employ a manager none of you had ever heard of, failed to keep a manager you all respected.
Employed a DOF that ****ed up spectacularly at Boro, and a director that fled West Ham after HMRC raided their offices.
Employed Bravo on a part time basis that was in exodus in Qatar,

What makes you so confident that that is a serious management team - not one of your new recruits have experience of the Championship!!!

Thank you for your reply but I couldn't give a toss what you think. You are not a supporter of our club and therefore have not lived with or been through all the ups and downs of our amazing club.

Should you wish to change allegiance then I'm willing to reconsider.

    Ok I will humour you.

He has given Viera a four year contract - totally different approach to the last few owners. Of course, he may go in that time but not for a tribunal fee or low offer because he is in the last year of his contract.

Jansson apparently signed, Wood apparently happy, Sacko signed. Not bad for a few weeks. (I have to say apparently because, as others point out they could leave at the drop of a pound note but that is true of all clubs).

I admire the optimism you and Mighty show because you are doing your transfer business early and, quite rightly have enjoyed your promotion but I can honestly tell you, without using Wiki all I know about Millwall is my mate supports them, Morison plays for you, isn't the ex Southend striker your manager? Does someone called Beryl's Son own you? I suspect you took a sparky or something from non league football about a year ago because I have seen people taking the piss on here. That is honestly it so, no, I am not looping a noose just yet :emoticon-0148-yes:

Nice post but he did have 6 months of being joint owner seeing what needed to be done. Not saying I feel we are that far behind as the spanner in the works was the first mistake the new guy made, assuming Monk would be okay under a director of football. We wondered if the signs were there and they were.

I would imagine lots of mental and physical notes were made during those 6 months and again, we had to wait for the likes of Kinnear to work off his contract.

We've spent the best part of £5m already securing Sacko and Pontus, I think because we had them on loan it's easy to forget that.

We have been told we have been turning it round ever since.. With each new owner a new way of raping the club has been found. Give me one piece of evidence that says or even indicates Rad isnt just another chancer thats going to spend a couple of years lining his pockets before ****ing off.

Want to agree with OP but until we see the new players come in, see the standard of our play, hear happy camp stories coming out of TA and see how we approach buying bcak ER. Those things happening soon will give everyone a boost. Tommy has made a big rod for hi sown back by saying promotion this season. Going to be great or disspointing as finishing worse than 7th means gone backwards

I didn't respond to your question for the simple reason that you have no emotional investment in our club and therefore you will always prefer to be negative in anyway you can to undermine both our club and supporters.

I can fully understand your wish for evidence or even an indication that things are changing and as we are discussing a football club everything ultimately is about the on field results and performances.

However you seem like an erudite guy so I'm sure you're fully aware that restructuring a failing business takes time and has to be done by putting solid foundations in place. Radrizani has set about that task with some gusto and now as ever we wait and see who will succeed and who will fail in their respective roles. Put simply we are now building a medium to long term strategy which will have far more chance of succeeding than the short term approach of gambling on signing expensive and usually overrated players and their ridiculous wages.

Its a football club not a boardroom beauty contest and the pitch is the only place that counts. His promises are as hollow as Cellinos and GFHs. They are all the same and their is no honeymoon period anymore.....

The team will be going backwards as things stand.

You don't have any players at your club would get anywhere near our first team. You got spanked regularly in league 1 can see some 6s and 7s against you this season and you will get 20-30 points total.
