I am guessing it was a death note and not a will, and I very much doubt it was meant to be altered. I think whoever wrote it wanted it to be taken at face value. This can also contain ANYTHING and will be taken for what it is."

And if they didn't bite (or were unsuccessful) I am assuming that they can bite the next night and then it becomes Monday night, Wednesday night, etc?

So either it is a Will (so IBWT wrote it, so maybe he was in on the joke and decided to frame NUFC guys in case he died, which would be rather odd) or it is a Death note by the SK (in which case it's either a bluff or double bluff as multiple people have pointed out). There is no clear indication which one of the two it is, but the smart money is obviously on it being a death note by the SK.

Could be virtually anything unfortunately, there are 3 main reasons I can think of but there will be more. (1) Kills based on history between players Based on previous games we always look for grudge/revenge kills and football team-based kills, so guys could be using it as revenge or a bluff to blame someone else. So typical links would be NUFC fans killing each other or LFC fans killing each other (or Tobes), or a Astro/Tobes tiff. Then you get history from previous games, especially if someone screwed you over in the prior game(s). So if we go along those lines and it's not a bluff the typical suspects would be the guys who have usually played Mafia on the LFC board (not just LFC fans, it would include the regular NUFC fans, and guys like Tobes, myself, BobbyD, afc, it's quite a long list) and would clear the NUFC guys who don't usually play and new players. (2) Kills based on threat to your team (due to skill/history) Another reason for a kill is because you think the player (Astro) is either a good player and a threat to your team (IBWT typically falls into this category as well), or he usually suspects the player(s) in your team so he's a threat for that reason and needs killing. (3) Kills based on posts in this game Then we get to current events. People could target Astro because of something he said. Either (A) he said something that made the mafia suspect that he will be a threat to them, so maybe he picked a fight with one of their members... Or (B) he said or did something that made them think he had a town role and was a good target. Or (C) he had an altercation with a non-mafia member and they think this will cast suspicion on someone other than them.
