Thought as much...Dave Woods comes across as an all right geezer at times, but he must have been ****ing himself silly when Cas got to back to 18 all.

Your not Gwilyum Lloyd are you and his tiny world of rugby league ?
I like your 'world' cup, England, Scotland ( no RL clubs), Russia ( no RL clubs) Oz, NZ, France ( one club ?) and the cook islands ? which is like have the island on East Park boating lake included, so I see where your coming from with your 'World, usually world famous stuff.

And if speaking to a RL fan about a similar crowd for City in a cup quarter final at home v a very close Yorkshire club who are top of the league, it will have been..........'6,000 City fans and 6,000 away fans' Or, as heard every time we sold out the KC...'They only come to watch the opposition'
Nothing wrong with RL as long as it isn't compared like for like with football. We are World's apart, see above.

Well done for completely missing the point.

I'm not trying to say RL is a 'world' sport or that its popular. I'm simply saying that the challenge cup is the oldest current RL cup competition in the world, that's a fact, nothing more than that.

Which is precisely why it should be compared like for like with football's oldest competition.

Why should it? Would you do the same with ten pin bowling? Or snooker? It doesn't make any sense.

Hulls quarterback was the difference in my opinion , I don't think they will win the whole thing tho , my favourites The Warrington Wombats will take some stopping - anything can happen over 90 minutes tho and good luck to them if they can get amongst them in the first quarter , then they could hold out for the other 2, we need to watch out for Hulls fan favourites Gerem Onside and Fore Ward , when ever I get dragged there , those guys get some loud support all match

Yes I would. And it makes perfect sense. What doesn't make sense is comparing a knockout domestic cup match played at home with a second tier promotion play-off match played hundreds of miles away.

Yes, it was a perfect 10/10 for both atmos and entertainment.
Where do we go from here?
Loiners in the semi .....will that be an 11/10 if Hull won, coming from behind with a last gasp winner.
On a serious note, I just hope the 'Old Faithful' have learnt to take defeat with good grace in the case that they can't get past Leeds.
We all remember I'm sure the dreadful ripping down of the goalposts the last time the two clubs met on neutral ground and the shame it brought on our city.

It was actually 2005 in the cup final at Cardiff that Hull won when they last met on neutral ground. Facts and all that.

Didn't it come to light that the said game( At Huddersfield ) was Hull City fans that where fighting.
Was more of a Hull City v Leeds United spat if I remember rightly ???

That was a great day that was.
Didn't Stuart Elliot score the Plymouth around the same time of day.

I wont change my mind on Cityman. He is a closet FC fan, he is more obsessed than most rugby fans.
